Bookings and Payments
- Bookings need to be confirmed.
- Prices are stated in South African Rands (ZAR) unless stated otherwise.
- Full Payment is required prior to the commencement of the tour.
- Upon request, payments can also be made at the point of departure via credit/debit card.
Cancellation Policy
- All bookings cancelled within 24 hours are not refundable and will be forfeited.
- Should we need to cancel bookings due to bad weather, insufficient numbers or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be rebooked or refunded in full.
- Cancellation fees may apply.
Fitness of Participants :
- Guests must ensure that they are physically able to complete the walk / tour and inform the Tourist Guide of any relevant medical conditions or mobility issues.
Safety :
- Guests must follow the Tourist Guide’s instructions at all times, be aware of and take heed of traffic conditions, fellow pedestrians and any other hazards along the way, taking special care of uneven or slippery pathways, sidewalks and curbs.
- We reserve the right to end the participation of any guest who’s behaviour places themselves or other guests at risk.
Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability:
- Guests participate on all tours at their Own Risk, and no responsibility or liability will be taken whatsoever by the company or guide for injury, death or loss or damage to property.
- South Cape Promotions is not responsible for events that are beyond our control and therefore accept no liability for such events or occurrences.
Personal Belongings:
- Guests are responsible for their own belongings at all times.
Photography and filming:
- As part of our ongoing marketing, we do photograph and film our tours on a regular basis. This footage may be placed on our website or other social media platforms. Should guests have any objection to being included in such footage, please inform us in advance.
Transportation:
Where transport is provided:
- Passengers are to wear safety belts at all times.
- The Guide reserves the right to refuse transport or may offload any guest who’s behaviour may compromise safety.
- No eating, drinking or smoking is allowed in vehicles.
Governing Law:
- These terms and conditions are governed by the applicable laws in the Republic of South Africa.
Privacy Policy:
Only information necessary to process bookings will be held.
Our business complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and all personal information is strictly confidential.
All personal information is stored securely and will not be sold or shared.
