What tours do you offer?
- We offer guided tours in and around Mossel Bay and the Garden Route, focusing on history, culture and scenic highlights. Standard tour routes can include Mossel Bay, Friemersheim, Wilderness and Knysna. Although we offer standard tours, Bespoke and customised tours are offered to accommodate specific visitor’s interests and requirements.

- Our upcoming bespoke /private tours gives guests a broader insight into the Mossel Bay region and its surrounding towns.
Why should I take a guided tour instead of driving it myself:
- With us, you get the stories behind the places – not just the views. This turns the Garden Route into a living historic and cultural experience and not just a scenic drive.
How long are your tours?
- Standard tours are usually half day (3-4 Hours) and are available in the morning or afternoon
- Our upcoming Mossel Bay / Garden Route tour is a full day (7- 8 Hours)
What makes our tours different?
- Our tours are focused on storytelling and hidden history, not just sightseeing alone. You’ll hear deeper stories of places that most visitors and even locals do not know.
How much walking is involved?
- Moderate walking is required for our Mossel Bay Heritage Tour.
- Gentle walking is required for our bespoke tours.
Tours are available for those with disabilities – On Request.
Are our tours suitable for older persons or families?
- Our standard heritage tour comprises a fair amount of walking within the town, taking streets, sidewalks and traffic into account and is therefore not ideal for families with small children or the elderly.
(Our bespoke tours, however, would be able to accommodate such guests)
- Our Greater Mossel Bay and Garden Route tours are suitable for all ages and all fitness levels.
Can I request a stop along the way?
- Yes, a quick stop is allowed as flexibility is part of the experience.
Do we offer photographic stops along the way?
- Absolutely. Photographic opportunities are encouraged.
Are there toilets along the way?
- Yes, route planning has been done to ensure that there are bathroom breaks along the way.
What should I bring along on a tour?
We recommend:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Sun Protection (Hat, Sunscreen, Glasses)
- Camera or phone
- Light Jacket (Weather can change quickly)
- Water
- A good attitude with a sense of humour and some excitement
Are meals and drinks included?
- No meals or refreshments are included in the cost of the tour
Is smoking permitted on the tour?
- Unfortunately, not, however, please speak to our tourist guide, who will make time provision for you to enjoy a cigarette or two during the course of the tour.
Do you offer hotel pickup?
- Complimentary hotel pick- up and drop-off is available on certain tours (Please make arrangements when confirming your booking)
How far in advance should I book?
- To avoid disappointment, 24-48 hours in advance is recommended, however, last minute bookings may be possible depending on availability.
What is the cancellation policy?
- Cancellations requested at least 56 hours in advance are typically refundable or can be rescheduled.
- All bookings cancelled within 24-48 are not refundable and will be forfeited.
What’s Vehicles are used?
- Upcoming Tours are conducted in licenced, late model, comfortable, air conditioned, sedan vehicles, suitable for coastal and garden route travel.
Is the tour safe?
- Yes. The routes are well travelled tourist routes, and all stops are at safe and established locations. Safety of our guest are always our greatest priority.
What is the best time of the year to visit Mossel Bay and the Garden Route?
- This is a year-round destination
- Summers are warm, lively with bustling beaches
- Winters have fewer crowds but have beautiful landscapes and vistas
